In this sefer, R' Yisroel Miller ( R Miller's ZTL nephew) addresses the question of how we are to understand gezeiros of Chazal that seem somewhat far-fetched. I was wondering what Rabbi Shapiro thinks about his approach & if Rabbi Shapiro has an alternative approach....see here
