L'Kovod Rabbi Shapiro Shlit''a,
The belief that the universe is billions of years old (which is heresy) is widespread among baalei teshuvah in my community, and their poisonous influence have spilled over into the gerim culture (G-d please forgive us).
So I know gerim who believe the universe is billions of years old need to have the bet din come in an annul their conversions retroactively. But often they go undetected and these women bear children.
So my question is, since these women are really Jews, when they bear kids are the kids jews or goyim?

Rav Chaim Kanievsky was asked whether someone who accepts all Mitzvos but believes the world is billions of years old can be accepted for conversion. He said no he cannot, and it is possible (not definite) that his conversion is not valid even b'dieved.
You don't need a Bais Din to invalidate something that was not valid to begin with.
If the conversion was invalid even b'dieved then (if the convert was the mother) then the children are not Jewish.
However, if at the time of conversion the person believed the Torah's position that the world is 5774 years old, and later the convert decided differently, the children would be regular Jews.
All of the above is assuming the position that the conversion is invalid b'dieved. Again - Rav Chaim Kanievsky said "maybe" this is true. In actual practice therefore, and because this is dinei nefashos, a competent Posek (I know that is redundant) should be consulted.
