Ok, so Its a historical fact that many generations ago, there was a Kahzar king who converted to Judaism (its mentioned in Rejoice O Youth)...what happened to the decendants of these converts? Did they ever make up a large part of Klal Yisroel?
...and I know this is going to sound beyond insane but this keeps bothering me but how can we be sure that all Jews today who are able to produce frum ketuvot are in fact real Jews?

They werent that big a nation, and its possible only the nobles converted, i hear. They became jews and married other jews, all there is to it. You clearly dont mean it this way, but the claim that they somehow replaced Bnei Yisroel is a common anti-semetic one. Where did you get it?

Also, question for Rabbi Shapiro:Have you heard about this book called the Thirteenth Tribe? Its a book written by a (secular) Jew that "proves" that Ashkenazi Jews are decended from Kahzar converts. Can you debunk this book in a convincing way? This is something that had bothered me for a long time and I can't really get an unbiased answer.
