Hello, I daven at a shul that has a tall mechitzah, but is transparent....I would describe the general crowd as ortho-prax, so I can count on atleast one woman not dressing tzinusdik...is it ok to daven there if I sit somewhere where I won't see through the mechitzah? Is there any lenient poskim on this subject? I don't live in a Jewish community and all the other shuls available are whacked-out Lubavitch ones.

Better to daven in the Lubavitcher places, even if they are whacked out. Assuming there is a minyan of Shomer Shabbos Jews there, and the Shliach Tzibur himself is Shomer Shabbos. See here.
Transparent Mechitzos are not kosher according to the vast majority of Poskim. Rav Moshe permits them, but only if the women are dressed properly. Otherwise, you can't daven in front of them, Mechitza or no Mechitza.
L'maaseh, you should not daven there. Better go to the Lubavitcher places.
