I'm a junior in high school and i REALLY want to go to israel after high school for seminary. my parents are very against it as i have become more religious the past few years, i keep tzniut and they dont, etc.. and they are afraid that i will go there and become "too religious" and everything.. zionism is also very important to my family and my father is afraid i'll be educated by the wrong people. i want to find the right seminary for me in advance, so that i can work on convincing them earlier on because i really really want to go. i need somewhere that is highly zionist, in israel, not too hard-core religious or chareidi, but i do want to learn, have positive shabbat experiences, make new friends, and maybe even do some touring. any help is very much appreciated. thanks

Don't know where you're located, but there are a TON of open house ads in this week's Mishpacha magazine (I assume they'll have them for a while) for seminaries.
You might want to consider going to a few of these to see which ones best fit you, and meet some of the faculty.

my hebrew skills are good, i have a good vocabulary and can carry on conversations.. i'd also love to be in jerusalem if possible.
i'd also like to learn hebrew as well as judaic studies
somebody suggested midreshet devora to me i checked out the website it looks pretty good.
the next step is persuading my parents that this is a good thing and i won't go and "flip out" - i mean i'll definitely become more religious and dress differently but i dont mind that - they do.

are your learning skills in good shape?
I would suggest Migdal Oz or Nishmat.
Both are relig, amazing, pro israel, etc
If you aren't necessarily so intellectual i would sugggest shalavim
same as nishmat and midgal oz ,but not so much pressuring of learning high texts

I am intellectual and have good learning skills because of the school I go to. I checked out Migdal Oz and Nishmat they looked good except for the fact that they were very Israeli - now my hebrew is good and i could understand and read everything, but my accent is terrible and i feel like i wouldn't fit in there.. what does everyone think of midreshet devora? has anyone gone there or knows someone who has gone there? i loved it based on the website
