Today i realized something, made such an obvious connection, and i wonder if i'm the only one tht ever felt this way. untill now, i thought of Hashem in 2 ways, as my best friend/father always supporting me, holding my hand, letting me cry on his shoulder, the Hashem i spoke to on my way home from school, when i was feeling down, and needed help...and i knew that only He, can be my savior! and then their was the "other" Hashem, the all powerful mighty king, creator! tht gives me all, sustains the universe, is all knowing, the Hashem that spoke to Moshe, that gave tochachos, brought the churban,makes the sun rise, and that made har sinai,....today i felt for the first time, truly, a connection between the two, that "my" Hashem is that Hashem too, as much as He is my best friend, He is also yours, and every jew's, He is behind the whole universe, and also the fact that i made it to class before the bell even tho i missed the bus!.....(i guess i just nvr really FELT tht b4...i undertood it, it was fact 2 me,,,just never consciously connected it)
am i crazy 2 only really see this now?

thts beautiful. yeah thts what i think in shemoneh esrei- the 1st bracha- that HaShem is all-powerful, the Creator of EVERYTHING- the huge oceans and seas and lands and all the billions of ppl in the world and He has been since the beginning of the world and ruled over genertaions upon generations of our ancestors. and yet again He cares about me- tiny, small, insignificant, little me! and He gave me all my talents, abilities, family, friends, situations to help me grow, etc. WOW!!!!! HaShem is INCREDIBLE!

Thats so interesting th@ u brought this up bc I'm actually having a lot of trouble with Yiras Shamaim now adays....just bc I see H' as this loving Father its so hard for me to fear Him..ne suggestions?

ive actually seen yiras Hashem translated more as AWE (makes sence in ur case?)
idk if this will help:
were u evr frends w sum1 hu u sumtimes felt "woah, i feel so priveleged 2b her frend! she's just so amazing!"
or have a mentor that calls u her 'frend' , n u cnt help but feel like she's seriously being generuos by calling u her frend! u know ur not at all equals!
its not a diis 2 u.....u just realize she's so wise and beyond u!
