Teshuva always helps. However, under certain circumstances, Hashem makes it harder for a person to do Teshuva. One of these circumstances is if someone caused the public to sin. If someone merely caused a private person to sin, there are different opinions in the Meforshim regarding when that would cause Hashem to make it hard for him to do Teshuva.

They include things like: If someone caused his friend to do a very severe sin like Avodah Zorah; if someone caused his friend to not merely do a sin but go off the Derech; if someone not םמךט caused his friend to sin indirectly but actually tried to make him sin.

It also says in Seforim that in such a case, if a person does Teshuva, Hashem can give him Siyata D'Shmaya that the people who he influenced should do Teshuva as well.

Question for Ha'Rav:Recently a frei Jew became mechalel Shabbos for me (I allowed him to fix my glasses) but I did not even ask him, he just offered and I allowed him to do it. (a nice thing about Jews is that they are *naturally* kind even if they arent frum or even total rashayim)

However, I realized my mistake and told him Im sorry for what I did and that I actually damaged his soul and he forgave me.

So my question is:does G-d accept that as teshuvah on my end?

What if I invited Jews to a makom pritzus? Is there a way I can atone for getting Jews  to see pritzus?

I didnt say a campaign. for example, you pass by an inappropriate advertisemnt on the floor. without looking, you cover it.
