k so you know how ur supposed to be happy with what you have? and if HaShem put you in a situation, then you shld be happy with it and know that He knows what He's doing, and has ur best interests in mind? k so how does hishtadlus fit in to that? let's say u have a job that u don't like so one the one hand you shld be happy with what u have and realize HaShem put you there 4 a reason but on the other hand shldn't u try to get a job tht u want?

You can always try to get the job that you feel you'll be happier in. If Hashem wants you to stay put, He will - there's nothing you can do to change that. But the question becomes: "Am I supposed to stay where I am, or try to change jobs?" Just know, whatever Hashem wants, WILL happen. So if you're miserable, feel free to look around, nothing will change if that's not where Hashem wants you to be.
You can also think, Hashem wanted you in that job THEN, but if you find something else better, He now wants you in the new job. If you're miserable in life, you are allowed to stop and figure out what to do - you never need to just sit back and take it because that's what Hashem wants. He made you miserable to help you move on. And if He doesn't want you to move on, He won't let you find a new job.

Switching schools because the one you are in is not appropriate or you feel you will do better elsewhere is not a violation of Bitachon. Whether you should do it is of course not always an easy question, but you should not think that doing so is a lack of Bitachon.

L'chvod Rabbi Shapiro,
If a person is suffering in terms of his health and tried to visit a few doctors but has not seen an improvement, should he believe that he has done his hishadlus and accept the suffering from Hashem or should he pursue the advice of more doctors, forms of treatment, etc.?
Also, side question- are there any halachic issues with practicing yoga?
