This has been bothering me for a while. I dont understand what is going on. It seems as if every other I'm adding another gadol to my teffila in refainu. What is happening??! Why is this happening?? Its getting to a point that its just not normal. And (especially) when things arent normal it helps us remember that Hashem is organizing things so we remember He is in control. But right now I'm feeling so discouraged. I just dont know how to think rationally about this.
My mother said its just because they are elderly. Although that is true, there has to be more. Something isnt right.
Is there a lesson or a message I/bnai yisroel can take from what is going on?

It still bothers me that there are so many sick at one time, but at the same time I guess it just brings Rabbi Shapiro's point home. I also just read the statement by Rav Shteinman and after reading both I'm starting to have some clarity.. Slowly but surely
