I've always been bothered by why did the Jews need 78,600 judges to replace Moshe? How many fights could 600,000 Jews have had already? You realy need a jude for every ten people, another one for every 50, another every hundred (how useless were the one for 50?), and another for every 1,000?
Besides, it's mashma that waiting in line for a day was enough to get your question answered as Yisro's problem was that they have to wait in line the whole day, not that they weren't getting their questions answered, so it couldn't have been nearly that many cases!
