So ABY alumnae, from about 2-3 years at maximum post seminary, if you were there last year I would like you to post some information for me! So how are the classes, what are the tracks like? What did you like the most about the seminary and also dress code in class and outside of class? What would you say to somebody going there or thinking about going there? Be specific besides "it's an amazing place!" even though I'm sure you loved it.

I have heard that it is a really great place. I didn't go, but I have a buncha friends who did and absolutely loved it! I had a few of their teachers in my seminary and they are amazing! The staff I've heard is very approachable to talk to and many girls have close relationships with them.
I know this is totally not what people base seminary on (or at least I hope not) their building is nice and they are in a great neighborhood - Ramot is gorgeous!!!

Mrs. Solomon - even though her class is hard - you learn a ton!!! You will learn Navi in a way that you have never learned before!!
Mrs. Koenig - she is just brilliant!!! I had her for Medrash and she really made you think in a way that you never really thought before.
Mrs. Cohen - she teaches Chinuch and in such a great way - I don't really know how to describe it.
I think that is it. Those are the teachers that I have had but they also have Rebitzen Karlinsky, Mrs. Biala and many other really great teachers. I have a bunch of freinds who went/are there and they love it!
I think that is it. Based on that - I wonder who can guess what seminary I went to :)
Someone asked what thier new address is - I dont know the exact name of the street or nunmber but its in Ramot Alef.

Yeah i know, pathetic because its almost February for heaven's sake, but I will now post what i know about Ateres.
So in general, this is a VERY warm seminary. like if you need help with ANYTHING, they totally take care of you.
So they have three tracks, and they all learn the same thing, no one is treated differently for their level. Just the tests are slightly different based on skill and stuff. They have a tutor session once a week and there are people all over to help.
They have machancheses, (sorry spelling) that ask you how your doing and you could learn with them if you want.
The teachers are amazing! Yeah someone i know went there talked about above teachers very positively!
They take care of you for shabbos, you can go places if you don't know anyone, totally fine. They place you every shabbos if you want them to.
In my interview Mrs. Sokel said that a girl commented "yeah there isnt a week when nothing is going on, there's always stuff like tiyulim and yom iyuns and stuff."
Yeah its a good place to grow, and its just a normal frum place. Like not too strict, normal seminary dress code, if your not serious and make a ton of trouble you'll get kicked out, Rabbi Belsky calls it the 18,000 dollar mistake. I'm really happy about my decision and i hope this information was helpful to anyone going! see you in seminary :)

Hey always striving, hope your offer is still open! I have questions about the uniform at Ateres..1st they said we need "oxford broadcloth" shirts and I'm not exactly sure what that is. Second, do a lot of girls just wear button downs without sweaters or cardigans over cuz I'm not sure if I should just buy a bunch of cheap shirts and cut the sleeves off and wear them under sweaters every day. Also, it is okay to wear button downs that are a little more fitted because it said "loose fitted" but I don't want to look like a box!
