From Wikipedia (Bar Kokhba revolt):

"In the post-rabbinical era, however, the Bar-Kokhba Revolt became a symbol of valiant national resistance.

The Zionist youth movement Betar took its name from Bar-Kokhba's traditional last stronghold;

and David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, took his Hebrew last name from one of Bar-Kokhba's generals.

A popular children's song, included in the curriculum of Israeli kindergartens, has the refrain 'Bar Kokhba was a Hero / He fought for Liberty'

and its words describe Bar Kokhba as being captured, thrown into a lion's den, but managing to escape riding on the lion's back."

Yes, that is part of the government-induced brainwashing that Israeli youths are put through. Of course, we, (so-called "Chareidim")  refer to Bar Kochba as Bar Koziva (the fraud), and we teach the truth, that his actions were the epitome of foolishness, that brought a bloodbath upon the Jewish people.

One thing we and the Zionists totally agree on though - the Zionists are indeed like Bar Kochba. That is why, in the interest of Jewish survival; in the interest of Hashem and His Torah, we must shun them, teach our children that they are indeed the "second coming" of Bar Kochba, and do whatever we can to ensure that they do not bring down upon us more of what their "hero" the fraud brought upon us.

In fact, meforshim tell us that the reason the Bar Koziva war resulted in rivers of Jewish blood being spilled all over the land was because of the sin of violating the 3 Oaths that we swore that prohibit us from creating Jewish State during Golus - the exact same sin that the Zionists violated with the creation of the State of Israel.

Yes, Ben Gurion was right: Zionism is a reenactment of Bar Koziva's actions. ה' ישמרנו.

Their Zionist culture was designed by the founding fathers specifically to make the Jewish heroes into villains and the villains into heroes; to make fundamental Jewish values, such as the purpose of Golus; our method of survival (by bowing to Esav) that has kept us in existence for thousands of years; our attributing of our sufferings to Schar V'Onesh, into stupid primitive nonsense, the tragic result of "rabbis" (such as Rava and Abaye) who were neither as wise nor as courageous nor as truly Jewish as Herzl or Ben Gurion.

We are the embodiment of all the values they are taught to despise. We are the embodiment of all the problems that they claim  brought upon the Jewish people suffering and persecution in the past 2,000 years.

Their entire Zionist ideology stands on the premise that we are the cause (or the unfortunate result) of the terrible lot of the Jews, their sufferings, their lowly state, their brokenness, for 2,000 years.

From a recent article on Holocaust Memorial Day:

"At the opening ceremony at nightfall, President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu both linked the desperate Jewish revolt of 1943

(the Warsaw ghetto uprising) to the warrior mentality that enabled the establishment of Israel five years later. . .

A clear line exists between the resistance in the ghettos, in the camps, and in the forests, and the rebirth and bravery of the state of Israel. . .

Netanyahu called the uprising marked 'a turning point in the fate of the Jewish people,'

where they transformed from helpless victims into fearless warriors."

From another recent article about Holocaust Remembrance Day:

"Oswiecim, Poland - IDF Chief of Staff Lt-Gen. Benny Gantz spoke at the site of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland on Sunday

on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, saying that 'Israel ensures that a horror such as this will not recur.'

Gantz, who was set to lead the March of the Living memorial event on Monday, said that

'the IDF is the defensive shield of the national home - a safe haven for the Jewish people.'"

From a recent article on the annual international Chidon HaTanach ("Bible Contest," like the Goyim have a spelling contest),

which tries to make the State of Israel look like it's committed to the Torah:

"The worldwide competition, which each year has contestants studying one sefer each from Torah, Neviim, and Kesuvim, is now in its fiftieth year and took place Tuesday at the Jerusalem Theater.

The contest was founded by Israel’s founding prime minister, David Ben Gurion, and is held each year on Yom Haatzmaut to symbolize the State of Israel’s unwavering commitment to the Torah."

Of course, from the U. S., only M. O. schools participate.

I ntoiced my printing missed some bits from the last maamar, sorry. this one is a bit more summarized due to contraints.

The intention of the anti-religious with the draft is to be mevatel the foundations and principles of Torah, the desolate the world of Yeshivos and to eradicate it all Rachmaa litzlan. The gezeira of the draft,  that learners should leave the Gemara and go into the army, is fearful. Some of the anti-religious want to impose the draft with force(?), and others of them suggest to do this in other ways, to suggest different benefits, in a  way that the bechurim themselves will challilah leave learning Torah and get drafted. Both sides have the same intention, the be mevatel Torah from the Jews, ?? discuss a fearful danger to the furtherance of Torah and Judaism, Rachmona litzlan.

In Chutz laaretz we know there are many decrees against us, the Rambam writes in Ageres Teiman that all their decrees on us, which are to to kill us and slaughter the neshamos of the Jewish people, their main intention is to pass(?) on the religion that is joking(?) in their eyes. Such was the Shmad in later generations, from a clear intention of ?? on the religion. And such we’ve seen by the Nazis yemach smemum during the Holocaust, that whenever they saw a Talis or Tefillin they became filled with terrible murderous rage and killed(?), and from this we can learn that the burning hatred of the nations ??? to uproot religion(Judaism?).

In order to reach ???, they began first to plan(??) to Talmudei Torah and yeshiva ketanos with ???, which is itself a terrible decree on the Yeshivos. And now they want to uproot everything, to uproot the shoresh of klall yistoel, the yeshivos. in time they ant t uproot everything, to uproot the neshma of yisroel which us our yeshivos and talmudei torah. We say in the haggadah, in every generation they rise up against us to destroy us. this refers not just to goyim, but also to these antireligious Zionists, who want to uproot the Torah.

I’ve said before that if they go through with this, the only eitza will be to leave the land, as we did to escape the communists.

We have to come up against them with all our strength, summoning all our strengths to defend the Torah, and not give them any reach into our yeshivos, but keep up our guard.

A tis time, we need to do a cheshbon hanefesh as to the cause of this gezeria. it is stated that if we don’t properly observe a mitzvah it is taken away from us. It must be that we are lacking in our striving and working for Torah.

Tanach in Israel is like soccer - a national sport. (Except that they treat soccer with more reverence.) It would be a big Mitzvah for them if they were to leave Tanach alone. They have corrupted it, distorted it - like the Christians for example - and, like the Christians reconstitute it and make it into a text for Christianity, the Zionists do the same thing and make it into a text for Zionism. The Tanach would be very grateful if they would stop molesting it.

For example, Ben Gurion, in his "shiurim" on Tanach which he gave bi-weekly in his home to a by-invitation-only audience of celebrities and other such "dignitaries", said that the Jew were in Eretz Yisroel before Avraham went there - that Avraham was attracted to them, so he went there. Eventually the Jews ended up slaves in Egypt (according to Moshe Dayan's "commentary" on Tanach, they - quote - "deserved" it because they left Eretz Yisroel), and after a few generations - not 200 years - Moshe led them out of Egypt (Hashem is not mentioned of course) and brought them to meet their brother Jews in Eretz Yisroel.

His motive was to "establish" the Zionists' rights to the land as being its most ancient inhabitants.

This is just one example of many. The Zionists did to Tanach worse than the Christians did. At least the Christians believe it G-d-given. To the Zionists, Tanach is a cultural thing. From their official website (http://cms.education.gov.il/)
